1. The principle of operation of the shut-off valve

When installing the connecting pipe of the air vent to the upper thread of the shut-off valve and then screwing it in, the shut-off element is lowered,providing a flow of transported fluid into the body of the air vent.

When removing the air vent, the valve spring raises the shut-off element to the stop, blocking the flow of fluid from the system.

2.Instructions for use and maintenance

The air vent must be operated without exceeding the pressure and temperature given in the table of technical characteristics. Installation and dismantling of the product, as well as any repair or adjustment operations should be carried out in the absence of pressure in the system.

Allow the equipment to cool to ambient temperature. When installing an air vent with a shut-off valve, subsequent removal and adjustment of the air vent is allowed without emptying the system.It is necessary to regularly check the performance of the air vent, at least 1 time in 12 months. During the inspection, the general condition, condition of the fasteners, tightness of the seal and gaskets should be checked.

Maintenance of the device consists in the removal of accumulated dirt from the housing and the fitting for venting air.
